How to Give

Give the Gift of Your Time and Volunteer

Our Cover to Cover event during the month of May is a District-wide summer reading program. It is designed to help prevent a summer decline in reading skills and promote a lifelong love of reading. The project will impact more than 1,850 students at Belvidere, Butcher-Greene, CAIR, Conn-West, High Grove and Martin City K-5. In May, each student will receive 5-10 books of their choice of over 15,500 books!

So we need your help in setting up the ‘store’ in the libraries, during the student shopping times, and with storing any unused books. Click below to sign-up now!

There are several other areas and ways through which to support Grandview C-4 students through the GEF, including:

  • Walk/Run or Trivia Night sponsorships or participation,

  • Special Program or Project sponsorships like Cover to Cover,

  • Named scholarships that honor an individual, family or business or study area,

  • Named grants that honor an individual, family or business or focus area,

  • General funds that support student scholarships and teacher and staff grants,

  • In-kind donations of supplies, volunteer employees, or donations for events.

Other support opportunities include:

  • Dollars for Scholars Grandview C-4’s Employee Deduction program where staff request a certain amount of their paycheck is contributed pre-tax to GEF.

  • Alumni class gifts/recognition as an opportunity for alumni to give back to their alma mater to support today’s students.

The GEF Support Opportunities Brochure outlines all of these opportunities, and the form is a handy way to plan your support and return the form to GEF.

Dollars for Scholars Payroll Deduction for Grandview C-4 staff allows staff members to make a small monthly contribution to the fund of their choice.  The form should be downloaded and submitted to the Grandview C4 Payroll Department.
