General Scholarships
In 1997, the Grandview Education Foundation was established to accept charitable contributions from private individuals, businesses, and other organizations who seek to provide funding for additional opportunities for the students in GC-4.
Yearly, the foundation will award five $1,000 scholarships to GHS seniors. Criteria: good grades, financial need and involvement in school and community activities. See requirements below.
Applications are available in the counselor’s office. Applicants must have the following requirements and must include the following information in their application:
-A minimum 3.0 GPA
-Attend a post-secondary institution in the fall
-Involvement in school and community activites
-Three letters of recommendation
-An essay that describes how you benefited from opportunities available to you in the district
